BB conversion for 70's schwinn
I have asked a couple questions on here and read quite a bit while converting a 70's i believe Schwinn Suburban to a fixed gear and now i am to the bottom bracket problem, it came with a one piece crank and i have recently bought a 3 piece track crankset to put on it but dont really know the whole process for a conversion for it so if someone could explain it or point me in a direction as to where i could get one that would be grand.
another option is i just take the bike in with the new crankset to the LBS and have them knock it out for me.
thanks in advance

You are better off replacing the frame and the BB at the same time.

bringing this back just to make sure i understand 100% because i am an idiot noob.
I bought one of these (Schwinn Continental):
https://i.pbase.com/g4/39/611339/2/63733027.6Qby9Ott.jpg
w/ a one piece crank
and i can use this:
https://www.danscomp.com/455021.php?cat=PARTS#
to convert the old one piece crank to a new square tapered crank
to be able to use this:
https://www.benscycle.net/bmz_cache/7...ge.700x525.jpg
from my understanding, yes. i just want to make sure the product will definitely fit into the the BB of the continental as there are no diameter measurements listed.
thanks in advance for answering my obvious questions.

Don't call yourself an idiot.
I can't access the first link, to the Schwinn, but I'm familiar with the Continental.
Those parts "should" go together, but it's not possible to know if the length of the spindle (aka axle) will create a good chainline. In other words, will the chainwheel and the sprocket be in the same plane? I hope they end up close. But you can't know until you try. Maybe that bottom bracket has a left-right adjustment.
Can you post a picture of the bike?

I converted an Ashtubula to a three piece last summer.
You'd be better off hunting down another frame to use your new crank on.
