Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Luckily I escaped with some chain ring gouges on my calf and a bruised ego. I always laugh hysterically when I fall down for some reason.

lol, how long does it take you to reach the brake? Or is it one of those attached to the seatpost?

its on the bottom of the left drop, and i had only a few feet to grab it, and even if i did grab it grab it in time to yank it hard...it's a front brake, so it probably wouldve propelled me towards the dumpster hahah

This one happened to my buddy. I'm the first rider in the line, he's at the end. Cut short a great ride too.
