I doubt you have any idea where it actually came from, this has been around for years:thumb:

This happened to my dad, not to me, but I'm pretty sure this is what happened. He ended up with a broken clavicle, three dislocated fingers (which he popped back in on the spot!), and a totaled bike.

I love this thread. I'm going on my first fixed ride through the city today so I might have something later. All I have now are childhood memories

This is the best thread ever. Thanks for making me laugh everybody! Here's my submission. It resulted in an 18" rod inside my tibia from knee to ankle, 6" plate on front, about 12 screws (ankle, tibia, etc), bone graft, and crutches for 7+ months. Fun!
|
And I forgot to mention is was not on a FG bike - but I though no one would mind.... it's the MS paint skills that rock this thread...

yea - I got some. It wasn't that great of a settlement and I'd sure give all of it back for my intact right leg. It'll never be the same.

This is my best mishap.
http://i10.photobucket.com/albums/a1...ikemishaps.jpg Best part is that it didn't really hurt. And I got my first look at what the shin-bone looked like. Due to the bear-trap raking down the surface of the bone I now have *****in' raised bumps from the bone regenerating. My girlfriend at the time was scared out of her mind. I walked over to a bench to inspect my wound, heavily doused in shock, and made her toss cookies by moving my skin over the bone. I subsequently had to drive myself to the hospital. |
damn. the last two paint posts made my whole body hurt. you guys are troopers.
