where to get this stem/handlebar/light combo

So yes these pieces don't pertain directly to having a singlespeed mechanically,
but in terms of being directed style/riders in the know, here it is.

I'm digging the oldschool light with that bar...and I'll have to get a shortstack stem to fit the light in front of the bars.

thanks

Is that a Kilo? It's pretty nice looking.

That handlebar is just a dime a dozen mountain bike flat bar. As far as the stem goes, you can probably find something that short in most parts bins and shine it up for like 5 bucks. Velo-orange has a light similar to that only LED, but you'll have to fabricate a mount. My LBS has a few of them too, but I'm not normally in the market so I don't know who makes them or how much they cost.

It's kind of hard to tell from this angle, but it doesn't look like it has enough sweep to be either of those. I still think it's just a dime a dozen silver flat bar, probably a Kalloy with the logos removed.

explain a short stack stem for me please. i'm not tryng to sound like a jerk, but there are terms and phrases that people are using that make no sense. quill stems are measured in how tall, length, pos./neg. rise, width of the stem, width of the clamp.....but no where is a quill stem measured in stack. learn the vocab so people can understand what you are talking about easier and help you to reach a solution. a perfect example of this is a guy called my shop yesterday asking for 18inch insulators. i had no clue what the hell he is talking about so i can't really help him. a few minutes later his mom calls and asks if we have 18inch tubes and i say yes and tell her the price. all i'm getting at is things are easier when you use the right 'lingo'. call me an ass or whatever, i don't care

it has enough sweep, it's just cut down. and how can you remove the kalloy logos from anything they make? they are all stamped into the metal.

I can't recall but there was a post about these a week or two ago. I'll link it if I can find it. I didn't want to work on my thesis anyway

Go to any flea market and you'll find literally tons of non-functional bikes with handlebars/lights just like that for around $20. The light probably won't turn on without a little innovation though, all the ones I've seen like that have been activated by friction from the wheel it seems.

There's stamped logos and then there's the big black printed ones. You could see the printed logos in this photo if they were there, and obviously the stamped ones would be too small to see.

And like I said, it's hard to tell from here if those bars have enough sweep, but I'm pretty sure they don't. I've run Noah's Arc bars before, and they have more sweep than that, even at that length.

sorry if my terminology is not up to par, but i think one can easily infer from the picture given and "short-stack" what i'm trying to convey.

I guess your shop doesn't work on mountain bikes, because stack height is an incredibly common term when referring to... umm stack height. Extrapolation anyone?

You should be able to find that light on a cheap bike at a resale shop or something, or buy something similar on ebay. Even if it's not working, you should be able to rig something up by gutting a $5 flashlight.
