Wowzers, I've got two of them on my bikes and would have never have guessed a cromoly stem could break. One of those stems has been on an ibis mountain bike since the 90s.

umm, read what get's recalled.......nothing before 2007. and it's not all stems that are bad, a couple people break some stems and bam! recall
