chainline WAY off on new conversion
Just picked up my new wheelset from my LBS today, Deep-V f&r with a Surly hub in front and an eno eccentric in the rear. Unfortunately, I've been messing around with anything I possibly can for the past two hours and cannot get the chainline anywhere near correct. The cog is too close to the center.
I haven't ridden in almost a month and really want to get on the road. Any quick fixes?
Thanks.

Tried putting the chainring on the inside of the spider and it rubbed the chain stays. I'm afraid a different bb will cause contact with the chainring and chains stays again.

I'd go with a smaller chainring and cog if that is your issue... sucks, but it is really your only option.

Check Sheldon Brown's chainline article.
A new bottom bracket is probably going to be your best bet. Smaller chainring and cog may stop the rubbing, but it won't fix the chainline issue.
Get out the ruler, do the math, and either get a new BB, or respace/redish the wheel.

Thanks for the help, fellas. I'm weighing my options out right now, but it's looking like a different bb is the right way to go.
