Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

tt lever for mustache bars

so today i switched to mustache bars from risers for the first time, and i can honestly say i love them. i do run with a front brake, and plan to continue that way. i've seen other setups where people run hooded brakes levers, but i'd prefer to just run one tt lever. the problem is, i can't seem to find a tt lever that will fit my origin 8 tiki bars. does anyone have any suggestions for one that will?

I just run an inline cx lever backwards on the end of the bar (basically same as TT, but the clamp is on outside). That way, you can run the cable under the bartape.

i also have a tiki bar and i use a diacompe 188 lever. the lever won't fit with the stock shim but i made my own shim and got it in there no problems.
