Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I see this bike a lot around Tokyo. Finally took a picture. Does anybody know what the make/model is?

Well, this was a tiny Japanese girl riding this bike. She must've been really into France to do all that work on the bike. Even the valves had little Eiffel towers as caps!

apparently in Japan bike theft isn't as big of a problem as it is here. So I've been told.

yeah, they must've both been into bikes. Girl and her boyfriend. They were just drinking coffee outside 2-3 meters away. Hence no big lock on the bikes.
I don't know anything about the Gios unfortunately.
