Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Yeah, the saddle looks pretty lame, but I got it used for only $17 and it is more comfortable then a lot of inexpensive saddles.

I like it. I like the fat fork look.

But why is your stem so close to the headset.

don't think I've ever posted this one here before. It's my SS beater bike. Got the bike for free, but the Suntour components were FUBAR, so I just made it into a SS with a rear wheel I got from a buddy who stripped out the FG side. Love this bike.

And, of course, the love of my life...

All pics taken w/ new iPhone 4!!

I can't help to think that some bum or a thief is going to jump on your bike and take off with it.

Thats what I was thinking. If I saw someone taking a picture of their bike from 600feet away, Id just jump on it, ride it in circles few time and give it back, just so I can scare the sh*t out of you .

The ultimate test is the "keester test". It's a highly scientific method for determining the optimal seating for a bicycle.

I once rode a broken seat that sagged on one side. Other than just sagging that was the only extent one could tell it was broken though. The solution make sure the wallet was in my back pocket on that side while riding it.

lovely columbus ohio. I was disappointing when I found out those were printed vinyl and not painted.
At least the 'interactive' nationwide advert has been updated from the yellow paint....

the orange fork is not going to look good any closer than that. bar set up is dumb if not on the track or an orangutan.
