the brake adjustments suck, but i would have to do it with horizontal dropouts too so it is really not a loss. ebb would be nice, but this wheelset has seen use in several frames and has been a versatile solution for my uses.
thanks for the complements. it will most definitely see trail time. everything is about frozen now, but i cant wait till spring. you should expect to see muddy pictures at some point.
edit: when you switch frames, did you keep the white ind. hub and change the axle out for a standard one?

i never thought about traditional angled dropouts compensating for that. unfortunately, not all sscx dropouts are angled.

Polo fixed...risky move
I've made a few updates to my polo bike, most noticeably the ENO rear wheel so I don't have to use a chain tensioner anymore. Also changed to a BMX saddle instead of brooks, added some gold bar plugs, and the badass neon orange bmx pedals. Wheel covers are off right now getting painted black, I was tired of being a rolling popeyes chicken billboard...
Good combination, all 3 of my bikes are rocking it...

Haha. I decided riding a brakeless track bike on the street wasn't really my thing so there it is... Trying to sell it while the price on these things are still ridiculous and then I'll go with a more practical build with a brake...

Been lurking around here for a while now drooling over all the nice builds. Here is my Steamroller. I built it up about 2 months ago. I plan on replacing the Deep V's with some Sun 36h CR 18's but not sure if they strong enough for my 250 pounds.

they're strong enough, but other than looks i see no reason to swap. unless you can make some money off it. nice bike!

Cool thanks. I mainly want a nice set of silver rims. I might go with silver deep v's or even some silver chukkers so that I can run some nice comfy tires.

i'd do chukkers if you do anything more than roll on your rims. of course, a properly built wheel is stronger than any improperly built wheel no matter the rim, but chukkers are massively strong. some gum colored big apples on silver chukkers would be awesome, if the roller fits them.

I actually already have a complete Kilo with some nice parts already... I was just gonna take the money from this complete bike and put it towards a nicer frameset and call it a day with the extra money in my pocket... that was my plan
