That Sekai will be around long after a new Leader has bit the dust. I saved a '73 Sekai 1000 from the trash bin, it will outlive me.
Great looking bike by the way!

Nice work, geekrunner. You fix up bikes for friends? So do I. It's an immensely enjoyable hobby. I only wish I could have more time to devote to it.
You remind me that converting a bike to SS or FG breathes new life into a cheap or middle-line bike. The bike normally might not be so fun, but once you strip it down and build it back up in a simple form, it's a nice bike. It's like my first fixie I had many years ago. I put North Road style handlebars on it, but upside down. A kid stopped me on the street and asked me where I got such cool handlebars. He didn't recognize them as the bars one would see on an ancient three speed bike, and sure enough, they were stylish when upside down.

saw one of these in a bike shop, they're sooo beautiful.
it's kinda nice looking next to other bikes, but when you get up close and see the flags on the decals, the pink/red clamp and spacers, and the red nipples, the whole thing just explodes in your mind... or is it pants...
why are you selling?

This camera is horrible, sorry for the blurry-ness! I switched out the drops for bull horns, and some other minor changes. Maybe a little cheesy looking with the gold, but I love it.

yes yes. motomess ftw!
thanks understanding. if you check the motomess thread, i explain the 27" wheels.
and yeah the bars are wide. threw them on stock width. i always cut my bars, but later wish they were wider. so this time, im leaving them uncut. plus im 6'7"
