Actually none of the lacings you all posted. Don't know, I didn't lace it. Bought the wheels that way. I'v been told its in fact not that strong of a lacing.

The clip for a stand thing, Sometimes i get it sometimes I don't. If I showed the next 3 pictures in the sequence I took you'd see it fall.

And Yes I know its an alpha. That's why I own it.

Thanks.
First ride today. It was a blast. I can't decide if I have the right ratio or not yet. It's at 48-18. Pretty fast when you get it up there. Hills aren't terrible around here so I think I may stick with it for a bit.

Just in case your wondering I did a little digging and found this. From that I can assume your wheel is two leading two trailing. Yes it is weaker than cross 3, but so is radial. Most lacings are fine if you do them right.

Also lol at bold.

Satan

I bought this Scattante frame from Performance bike during one of their crazy one day sales. I got the frame for super cheap and slapped the bike together with some leftover parts I had laying around. It's super stiff and a nice riding bike. Revised branding is a bonus.

it is a 2 leading 2 trailing pattern and they are actual moderately strong their primary weakness is lateral torsion

you should try to move the brake spacer behind the brake bridge it will make your brake much more effective and possibly less noisy

You're one demonic mother ****er. Not only does your frame say "Satan", but you have a picture of him in your rear spokes as well.

nice bike but for the life of me i can't understand why you would spend so much money on your wheelset/tires when you still lack foot retention- i mean, if you've got 40 bucks to blow on a white tire for looks that you're gonna skid through, why not buy foot retention first?

He stated that the bike is not done yet. From the looks of those tires, the bike has not yet been ridden. He says he still needs to buy pedals, so let's give him the benefit of the doubt and assume he is referring to pedals with some sort of retention.

I've rode for so long without any foot retention that I sometimes forget the importance of some straps or whatever... I plan on gettin' some straps with the pedals i'm pickin' up soon.

Thanks for that benefit, cause I do plan on purchasing some sort of foot retention with the new pedals. And yea, the pics were snapped before I rode on those new bright white tires! I was actually thinking about switching them to brown, cause that white gets way too dirty!
