Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

i guess this is how i'm suppose to act when i'm on my fixed gear. no wonder why so many bikers in my area call me a ******* when i'm riding...i was missing the typical "i'm better than anyone" attitude.

Are you kidding? This is apparently how you're supposed to act just because you own a fixed gear...on it or not.

ganman - that Malum is a pretty cool bike. Have fun!

That is one sweet ass bike! I used to roadrace in the late 80s/early 90s and I always wanted a ciocc. Nice job.

Couldn't you find an uglier colour to violate your bike with?

[sorry, I just have a strong aversion against purple. ]

rogwilco, Thats cool, I happen to have an affinity for purple. I waited what seemed like ages until they offered it sans decals.
I have been itching for a purple bike since my purple rockhopper was stolen from my garage and I sold my old Bianchi Limited to a friend because it was a bit small.

But I liked the larger 87 Trek I picked up to replace it. Teal!
