On a carabiner with my room key. I don't care how trendy it is, it's incredibly convenient.

My single biggest pet peeve is jingling when I walk. I'll go so far as to separate my change into different pockets...

I keep my two lock keys, work, PO box, and gate keys on a single ring (just big enough), all with rubber thingies. In the pocket, or in the bag (on a clip).

When and why did this get trendy? I've been doing it for the past decade and didn't notice other people doing it until the past year.

2001, shortly after emo and shortly before tight pants.

i've been using carabiners as keychains since 6th grade. when i work, i use my lock keys that are on the stretchy coil loop, up around my arm. they get hate, too, but for doing dozens of lockups a day it's really convenient.

Keys are on keyring which I keep in my pocket. It's much more quiet that way when I walk

Keyring, in my pocket. If for some reason I'm not wearing pants with pockets or a jacket, I'll likely have my iPod armband on, in which case I'll slip it in the little key sleeve my armband has. Anything beyond that and I'm more than likely not carrying a lock anyway, just being on it or having it with me the entire time it's out of my apartment.

Carabiner on the back pocket...been doing it for years and its the most convenient way for me. I lock up at least 15 times a day and the motion is so secondnature now that I do it even when I don't have my keys on my belt loop.

Keep my keys in my pocket, but rarely lock my bike for long though.
