thanks a lot

I love my Salsa Moto-Ace risers. They have just a little bit of sweep, and a little rise. they're so comfy.

black gr-9's and a silly black carbon fiber-y looking top tube protector.

veganeric 04-04-09 08:03 PM

Where were black GR-9s on sale??

A Thompson Elite post. Current post is too short and min insert isn't high enough. 'Twill be nice to finally ride with proper saddle height.

JacoKierkegaard 04-04-09 08:15 PM

I saw those and I'm curious, how stiff are those? It'd seem like, in order to make a comfortable sandal, the sole would have to be made more flexible than on most cycling shoes.

I'm wearing them right now and about to go out for a ride. They seem pretty damn stiff but still comfortable. I haven't ridden in them yet since there is still snow on the ground, however I'm about to ride over to a party and if I remember I'll post about them when I get back.

Scratcher33 04-05-09 12:20 AM

framesaver

brownfield 04-05-09 02:35 AM

Yeah, they were pretty stiff, but the uppers gave a bit more than usual on bike shoes, but that's kind of to be expected with sandals. They're pretty damn nice though. Glad I bought that wheelset because the hub straight up just stripped. Specialized stock hubs aren't all that great though so w/e.
