Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Wabi has its wheels back in stock and they are a completely new design. The price is increasing by $35 to $225 on November 22, but they are still being sold at the old $190 price until then, so I just bought a set. I also bought a Wabi water bottle cage.

Good to know about the wheels, I need to order a set. I'm on his email list but I didn't see anything come through.

Thomson elite zero set back post + Thomson x4 120mm stem which are replacing a 3T dorico pro set back post + 3T arx pro 100mm (which I'm selling btw! $65 for both)

Debating if I should pick up a top cap and seat post collar. The thomson bars also caught my eye.

"Ghost" ski mask, for something milder than my heavy balaclava, and i'm a geek.

How did the goggles work out for you, @RGNY? I'm trying to figure out the fogging problem.

Nice...I need to wait until it's almost the 22nd. I have a new set of mtb wheels coming today, I'd get yelled at for sure if another set of wheels showed up next week.

i've tried all the gels/sprays/etc. if i cover my nose and air gets funneled toward the lenses, they fog. period. coldest days last season i just went without and exposed as little of the face/eyes as possible. did get eyelash icicles one day.

if life or death, i'd get heated goggles.

I think I'm going to pick up a pair of nice flats for my scalpel.

Let me know how you like them.

I didn't like the set of Saint pedals I had, made my feet hurt pretty bad.

Even when taking it easy they bothered my feet, the dx pedals did the same to my feet, something about the concaveness of the pedals.

One is obvious with the shoes, also got a new road helmet, if I get hit again and the driver says they didn't see me then they are clearly lying, I got THAT giro savant.

You can never go wrong with a pair of nice flats. Especially if they're in a classic finish like black leather or sparkly red like Dorothy's slippers.
