I upgraded from Tecno 432's on my Principia with some Mavic Ellipses. I'm not sure it's really an upgrade as the 432's were tubulars and rolling really nicely.. And they were really not that heavy. Either way these seem like better match for the bike even though I might want to break the stealth appearance with some red/yellow bar tape. Guess it's all about looks..

A pair of Vredestein Fortezza Tricomp tires from ProBikeKit for $42. Scary good price. Should be a decent pair of race tires. Anybody have any experience with these?

Yeah, the sidewalls on the 2014 Conti 4000s tires I just bought also say "Made in Germany," so maybe it's only the cheaper models that are no longer made there.

I just bought a set that are "Made in Germany" as well. I was wondering how long it would take for new stock to trickle down the supply chain.

It mounts to the seat rails. It's called the mud flask.

For the alcoholic triathlete in your life!

Today, I bought a lockring so I can finish up a new ss/fg build.

Contemplating different pedals and new, instead of fantastic used saddle and seatpost.
