Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

An Aerospoke. >.<

Well, I'm getting it from a friend for free. He's buying a vintage Cannondale TT bike (full Campy Chorus and Ultegra... weird mix), with front and rear arrospoks. For 250. In return, I'm lacing him a front wheel and helping him set it up as a blazing fast SS.

Nitto RB-021 bullhorns for $10 from Craigslist, Park tool 3-way hex wrench from LBS, and I'm trying to find a good place to buy the Park SS-15 online. Oh, and I'm looking for some nice looking green bar tape.

SRAM S300 crankset from Ben's (because I'm too cheap to buy Omnium's for a commuter bike), just came this morning and will be installed tonight
