Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

The Tec9s arent the worst.. be sure to perform the obligatory tension and true, also I would advise repacking and adjusting the hubs...if that hadn't already crossed your mind.
These are the same wheels that came stock on my Vilano SS and will spin admirably if you look after them from the get go.

Thanks for the heads up, i'm less than a block from my LBS (and good friends) so i planned on taking these up there before they saw any road use for sure.
I was a little weary on them because of the price, but it's going on my beater/commuter so it'll do.

again, joke bid.

and the authentic catlike helmets weren't up to american standards either until serotta paid a lot of money, so i don't know how much worse it is than a real one. do you?
