Zefal 232 mudguard. Deadstock for $15, super stoked. More streamline than those SKS beavertail looking fenders. Looks like this:

I wonder why road cycling shoes are weird for walking in.

Isn't that what they're made for?

Thanks!

They're from Via Bicycle (bikeville.com) in Philly. They're reproductions of the original pre-war Schwinn Paramount adjusters (original price in 1939 was $0.80 ).

Drank the Kool Aid and got a Brooks B-17 Imperial and a hairnet in case I lock it up. My current Turbo gets really grippy with the tiniest amount of rain (I'm talking from just standing up for a second) and is hard to move around on.

Front and rear knog boomers from RG because my grandma thinks I turn invisible as soon as it gets dark outside.

2 continental bottles that I don't need just so I could get free shipping.

I used to go there once in a while when I lived in the city. Cool place, tons of old stuff. One time they replaced a fork for me after a crash. Another time I needed a new seatpost binder bolt and they charged me $5 for one. I was kinda like c'mon guys.

Ugh I can't stand those types of bottles now that I've replaced all of mine with these:

Seriously the best thing to happen to cycling hydration.

It's pneumatic. Think squeezing a sport water bottle with a top such as a typical water bottle BUT with a rubber gusset valve that is stays shut unless you squeeze or suck the bottle. This valve can also be locked via the little silver lockring you see above.

Now I get it, seems great. Might get a set of those when my current insulated bottles are kaput.

Yes, it's called smoke. The undergrad housing dept of the uni I work for gave out 1000's of them in black to the incoming and the number that gets left behind in lecture halls is astounding and such a waste considering they get left behind and inevitably lost forever within the first few weeks.

to be honest these are my first real bottles for cycling, but these purist bottles have a diferent kind of top you can get with what they call "water gate" valves which is essentially the same thing, but it doesnt have a slider to control if its open/closed, thats pretty sweet

they also claim (and reviews generally back it up) that the inside coating prevents it from retaining colors and tastes
