Leader Track Bike?

Anybody know anything about these?

The only thing I'm annoyed about with them is the 130 spacing. Why do that?

I've got a Leader road frame and it was a great bang for the buck! Very nice ride. It looks like the 130 is for ss frewheel?

Might be a decent frame, but I'd have to make the paint job solid black. As it stands, riding it would be too much like getting beat up by a pack of lame straightedge kids.

Unfortunately. They're getting creative, too. A friend of mine ran into one on the street. The straightedge kid asked him if he smoked, he said yes. Suddenly a half dozen more straightedge kids appear out of nowhere to try and beat him up. Lame as hell.

And then they go to shows and form their own mosh pits and do WWF-type wrestling moves. Oh yeah, got a lot of respect for that...

I just did a little research on these people. They scare the hell out of me.

"Angry Straight Edgers carved an "X" in the back of a man who lit a cigarette at a hardcore show in 1997 and stabbed a smoker to death on a downtown street corner on Halloween night of 1998."

And read about Andy Maunch... https://members.tripod.com/~XthinkX/files/2020sxe.html

Straightedge kids are half the reason I carry a fistload. I hate them almost as much as nazi punks. Straightedge kids and skinheads can pretty much go die alone and rot in the gutters as far as I'm concerned.

Naw, see, they can just go wander off and cease to exist. No way I'm gonna go out of my way to interact with them, even if it does mean breaking their bones.

Also, 1 inch threadless stems are becoming hard to find.

sXe...funny. I hung around with a fairly larger crew of Chicago sXers back in 89-90. That's when GB, Judge, Project X and all the NYC bands were on the prowl and making noise. I miss Underdog something fierce. Same with the Cro Mags a la "Age of Quarrel." Met John Joseph in Wash Sq Park in NYC. Nice guy for sure. I guess everyone has perceptions to go off of.
I try not to be in places where dip*****s may rear their ugly, SE, suburban heads anymore. I need not that crap. Half the kids back in 89 or so were pretty well to do, just wanting to be hardcore like NYC.
Everyone's gotta do their thing, but forget that others have the same attitude in mind for themselves. Their was this kid, Hard Carl (snicker), from OH or MI, possibly Detroit. Everyone thought he was the baddest of the badasses. Didn't pay my bills, so I didn't really care. I met a lot of cool kids too though. Like Frankie from Cleveland Hts, and Dwid. Some good NY/NJ kids too. But Chicago is home...and these people count most. The ones I meet everyday, either in memories or on the bike.
