Fixie Tire - Colors??

I am new here and need some input. I recently converted a bike into a fixed gear and i'm looking to customize it a bit. I am looking for some different color tires - not just colored rims. I found one company that makes them - https://www.fyxation.com - they are exactly what i'm looking for, but I don't think they are shipping yet. I can wait but thought I would see if anyone else knew of anything.

Thanks!
B

Michelin makes many colored tires. Also, if you're looking for a FG specific tire, The Soma Everwears come with strips of color on the sidewalls.

any road tire will work (unless you are doing a lot of skidding, then they will work, just for a shorter time) and almost every company makes a tire in some color. it's easier to determine the color you are looking for, then find out who makes that color.

Where are you finding rubino pro's for $25?

As for colored tires, if you want some that'll last and you can skid on, I just started running panaracer tserv's which come in colors. Also the Soma everwears...

another has seen the light of pbk. i've done an order with them and it took like 4 days to get to cali. from england. wat. my nashbar order took longer...

only thing is that some people get some strange charges on their card, there was a problem in transactions across the pond (was affecting chainreactioncycles or wiggle too, can't remember). haven't seen too much on this lately, just keep an eye out and be prepared to call the card company to cancel any off charges (not if the price is slightly different, the price may change by a dollar or two as the exchange rate changes constantly).

perhaps i should order with a prepaid visa than? would you recommend this? I was gonna get one of those pre-loaded visas for nashbar too because I heard the same thing there.

thanks for the feedback! I am still leaning towards the Session 700's from Fyxation because I want these things to last a bit and they sound pretty durable.

I'll report back when I get them on my ride.

Thanks again!
