Flip-Flop Hub Question: Freewheel or Fixed?
I'm looking into buying my first track bike, got it down to a few options:
Dawes SST: https://www.bikesdirect.com/products/dawes/sst.htm
Windsor ClockWork: https://www.bikesdirect.com/products/.../clockwork.htm
My question is, how do these bikes come...fixie, freewheel, or both?? My friends and I have debated, can't come to conclusion. Answers appreciated, thanks.

You need a fixed cog and a lock ring and tools to install it if you plan on doing it yourself. If you are planning to make it fixed why not buy a fixed from BD in the first place or buy the Messenger as it comes with both cogs?
