axle nuts

I have Redline chrome swivel washer axle nuts 3/8" X 24T and they dont fit on my hub. 3/8 is right but the threads are off. Does anyone know of another standard that it could be and where I could get the axle nuts with washers in them, thanks!

3/8" is not right, that's the BMX standard. Track nuts are 10x1mm.

Different hubs use different threading, I think Surly uses 10X1 for rear hubs and 9X1 for front

Most track hubs are 10M x 1.0 on the rear and 9M x 1.0 on the front. Except Campy; their track hubs are 10mm x 26tpi in the rear and 9mm x 26tpi in the front.

There's also 3/8 by 26.

wait...Campy is using inches? Why can't we at least be standard in our lack of standards...

No; they use a weird mutant mix of metric and English. Even Italian BB threading reflects this: 36mm x 1tpi. I've heard this is a result of SAE machine tooling being more readily available after WWII, but can't vouch for the reliability of this claim.
