Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

fantasy cycling

so I was a little bored while waiting for an appointment and decided to check out some wheel builds on the interweb and got to looking and building a light wheel set on pro wheel builder. This is what I came up with as a "fantasy" build for me.

Only things I might try to do differently would be get a matching white industries rear hub, but the ones listed weren't 28h. And I would consider titanium spokes to cut a little more weight (120 grams). Of course by the time I had the money to buy these they would be old news technology wise.

post up your fantasy wheel build. And I don't want to see some mavic eclipse to formula or nothing like that.

I've always assumed they were played by people who are physically inactive.

Ghisallo Cerchio pistas laced to vintage Campy track hubs... and a bike to put them on... like a Hetchins.
