Replacing Soma Generation BB

I have an old Soma Generation that I have been trying to lighten and update (it has a cottered crank).
Has anyone updated or changed the bottom bracket on one of these or know the size of it? I would rather not take it out to discover that I can't find a replacement.

-thanks

It has the normal bottom bracket sizing (english 68mm)

However, the stem is not a extremely normal size
It's smaller than the normal 1" (I never changed mine out) -- it's .833" (21.1mm)

I haven't had any trouble with the bike (it's a soft ride) -- hi ten steel

I have it up on velospace: here -- it's not the most recent picture, but you get the idea

I ground off the rack mounts (I filled in the holes with weld first) and also filled in the rear brake mounting hole (you can see that on velospace)
