Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I stopped by real quick like on my way to work. Wish I didn't have to work, and also wish I had means of carrying a lot of stuff. There were some good deals on great stuff going on.

I got there late, maybe 2:30 but still there were some people there. Picked up a saddle, some vintage bars and a stem. I thought the asking prices were pretty fair so I didn't attempt to haggle, but after leaving I sort of wondered if I was a dumbass for not making lower offers. Do these guys usually high ball and expect some haggling?

Are there any other swap/sales meets like this coming up in NYC?
