leather pedal straps

any of u guys know where to pick up decent leather straps for clips? preferably with no writings/labels on them.

Check around at old / packrat bike shops, ones that are used to kludging things back together for BMX kids and so on. My LBS just told me, "Go fish", and I found some white toe straps from France (Mavic?) in a bin in a dark corner. "Well, those are pretty old-school, so...$4 is a pretty old school price."

They're probably just taking up space in a box somewhere. It'll be hit and miss about labels and whatnot, but probably not too pricey.

thre writing will come of after a few rides. i have a used set of Toshi Double Straps for sale if you are interested. i want to go to single straps again.
