Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

i'm sick of fixed gear videos. it's like reality tv, but with fixed gear riders. no need to watch people do what i can do myself.

You don't think there's any merit in presenting material in an educational and artistic manner, just because the subject matter is attainable by the everyman?

That throws a lot of good documentaries out the window.

Looks fun. I find it humorous that you didn`t see a single brake equipped bike until it was the messenger`s bike. Same thing I see a lot of around the city here too.

im not against these movies, i just think its funny that the movies all have the same interviews w/ the same ppl talking about what its like to ride fixed, as if the ppl who watch it dont already ride fixed gear

Another film about urban fixed gear riders and messengers? This movie would have been cool 3-4 years ago. But there have been many other films that tell the exact same story (though admittedly this is the first German one I've come across.) Videography looks good, but this would definitely put me to sleep...

You are not your Cinelli.
