Anyhow, from a design perspective, I don't think they took the idea far enough. And I particularly agree with whoever stated that it invokes department store retail clothing racks. In terms of execution, it looks a little shoddy to be an actual bike (as opposed to art).

There is this annoying supposition in our culture that since someone is an "artist" and what they do, they call "art," that is is therefore good.

Right but contextually Bauhaus the band has zero to do with this topic. Not that the other meaning is entirely relevant either. But it's obvious that was the intent.
