Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

is $350 a really good deal for a Fuji track pro frame? i was told it has some scratches but not dents. i believe it is a 2002. And it comes with a new crane creek headset.

thanks

If you buy it, please don't build it up with risers.

If I had the money to spare, I would be all up and inside that frame

what's the big deal about risers? Handlebars are one of the parts that are so cheap and easy to change, you can switch whenever you want. who cares?

Because it's ridiculous to be riding a frame designed to be aerodynamic with risers. I have nothing against risers, but it makes no sense on a frame like this.

LOL well I'm glad to see people think I'm selling this for a good deal considering the bike new is over $1000. I'm just trying to help out local people. Its scratched up because its my only bike and I lock it up. I'm only selling it because I need money right now. Oh yeah I have risers on it because its comfortable for daily commuting compared to my nitto track drops.

If it doesn't work out locally, let me know. I think $350 is a good deal for a frame like this.

That's an '03 frame that retailed for $1200 at the time, for the complete bike. If it's in good condition, doesn't sound too bad

It's a nice frame ... but as I stated in a previous thread I will warn you I saw an '08 FTP go for <$600 complete on eBay just last month. It's because the '09 has a new design.

Anyhow, I've ridden this bike before and my friend of mine also just got one and it is a sick sick bike. I had a chance to ride it a bit at the velodrome and it is even nicer than my Cervelo ('08 FTP has newer technology, and is lighter.)

I recommend it, although, if possible, I'd try and find it fully built up. I know the price on eBay has been wavering between ~$500 and ~$750 over the last few months on models '08 and earlier. I was considering buying one (deciding between a Concept, P2T, and FTP). May as well spend a little more and have drivetrain, wheelset, steering, etc. also.
