cog tooth count interchangeability
unsure how to word the topic.... but my question is..
how much distance in the dropouts does the rear axle move when adding or subtracting a tooth?
a ratio would be nice... somethin like 2 teeth : 1 cm
anyone know ?

One tooth equals about 1/8" change in the dropouts. Don't take my word for this just yet. Others will confirm or correct.
edit: After checking my dropouts paint scrapes I can say confidently that going from 15 to 17 moved my axle about 1/8"

Id say your ratio is roughly accurate, OP. I switched from 17t to 16t a couple months back and I noticed the tire slide ~5mm forward when I adjusted the chain tension.
