City Bike Brake Levers

Does anyone use City Bike Brake levers by Velo Orange?
https://www.velo-orange.com/cibibrle.html

My main query is how the brake cable comes out. I would like to keep my brake cable open in the wind!

Thanks!

Hey,

I never used that particular model, but I am pretty familiar with Dia Compe MX-122. It is identical to yours except for BMX style lever.

The brake cable will stick out nearly parallel to your lever with cables running good distance away from the handlebar. You can be sure brake wire go "open in the wind".

Personally, that lever looks excessively retro and I think if you aren't shooting for retro style, you might as well go get a cheap Tektro.

Yea, I kind of want to keep my fixie a bit oldschool. But then I realized that if I get a modern side pull caliper, it wouldn't exactly look right. I'm kind of thinking about a Paul cross lever now, or maybe E lever
