Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I have a love/hate relationship with the rain...

...I love riding my bike, but hate cleaning the chain, worrying about water in/on parts it shouldn't be, etc. after riding in the rain.

Alternate: I love the rain, but hate what it does to my bike.

DOn't worry about it, chains are cheap, clean it, lube it, when it dies replace it. Nothing to worry about.
