Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

no, its hard to find a brand new bike under retail price.

you may find a used one on CL or Ebay, maybe even a new one, but its not going to be much less, if any, than retail.

suggestion: support your local economy or buy something in your pricerange.

Scarpi, I live in CA but was quoted $200 less (out the door) for the 2009/2010 Rush Hour. They even raised the price because the '10s are coming out soon, I'm waiting for a 50 to come in stock! I'd keep asking around, I also got a $700 quote at another LBS. Good luck!

The shop is in Covina/Glendora area but he sold the last 09 they had a few days ago.

I'm waiting for the 2010's to come in (I was told they're the same price as the remaining '09s) or just get an Iro.
