Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

I got one cause apparently you have to roll your cuff up to fit in.

At this point, blogging about your disdain for fixed gear bicycle riders has become way more of a self righteous hipster-"im cool because i dislike this thing that's so common" fad than fixed gears ever were. Seriously, how could someone "publish" this onto their "blog" thinking that they are revealing some grand new idea.

I love this. "I can't wait until this stops being cool so I can go back to being too cool to do things that are cool."

Yup, just another anti-fad fad.

I just can't wait until I can do a decent trackstand and I get all skinny like those dudes in the article.

Yet another wonderful bike bites the dust due to trend-chasing idiots.
