Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

there was a thread about this bike and another one on some site a couple weeks ago. the other bike was total *****, but the gavin seems cool. it's obviously an entry-level fixed gear, but it looks good (to me) and there's nothing on it that screams to me "this bike won't function"

Comparable to some of the Bikesdirect fixed gear bikes. Pricing is on par.

I've never heard of Gavin before so it would definitely be unique around here. I'm all for being unique and different

I am close to buying one of these as well. It's between this and the kilo tt. I agree the color scheme of this bike is better than the tt (at least the colors they have in stock). But I dont know anything about the company. And they spelled Bianci Pista as Pists on their site which screams crappy company. I'm basically looking for someone to tell me why I should or shouldn't buy this bike.
