Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

If you want Feetbelts or Powergrips a narrower pedal will suit them better--you'll get more squeeze when you twist in.

"Is this a good build?"

way to be vague.

if you're happy with it, then it's probably fine.

Price is a determining factor here. $200? Sure. $400? No.

why don't you buy a complete windsor and learn to ride get familiar with the bike before you build something that isn't satisfactory (judging from your post you are new to this)

if you must build the bike at least get gr-9s with clips and straps

for what it's worth, i know a few people who are loving odyssey twisted pc pedals.

and you can fit clips and straps on 'em.
