Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

You gotta love that bottom corner photo - is he hetero? ****? or metrosexual? Either way, this "bike"'s for you.

However, I find the first photo scary - biker or weightlifter?

I've seen a couple of these around. Bulkier, though probably safer, than a Razor. Look to be just as fun. From what hear, completely unlike a bike workout, more like low impact jogging.

Anyone remember these? - https://www.snakeboard.com/USA/snakeshack.html

I was on the path the other day and saw a guy "snaking" his way down the path.

As for fat tire skateboards, anyone remember Dirtboards? https://wardley.org/boards/dirtboard.html

I still remember this stuff from my golden days of skating - now not so much (though early mornings at the Wilson skatepark here are killer), cycling has taken over as main passion numero uno.

Zorlac, man, that's a name I haven'ty heard in a quite a while though recent reports tell me that they're making a revival of sorts lately.

Are you still skating at all? Weekday mornings at 7am, Wilson skatepark sessions.

Every other day, didn't go today but was there yesterday, will probably be there tomorrow morning, if not Friday. Just look out for me or Dave, we're there between 7 and 7:15 usually and session for an hour or more. It's really whenever days-wise but yeah if you see us, stop by.
