hipster or not?
Which is the true hipster?
a) The guy with the vintage pinarello in perfect shape and the all italian parts
b) The guy with the conversion road with bike no brand label in a super bright color and matching velocities
c) Or the guy with the Parisian Gentleman upright rider with a scarf and a coaster brake
admittedly, any one of these will instantly become a hipster the moment he wears a white belt.
any other suggestions?

its like you're so paranoid about falling into a label and you want to start a thread like this so you know what NOT to do. LAME.
1. everyone is free to express themselves through their bike and the way they dress.
2. as long as the bike is fitted and positioned correctly, there's nothing to cry about.
3. STFU and RIDE.

Last week I was at work late one night waiting for a fax, and in my boredom I wrote a simple harmless joke about hipsters. I say harmless because saying "hipster" is like saying "dweeb" or "jerk" in that its impossible to describe, Universally disliked, and no one ever admits to being one.
Within minutes I was LAMBASTED for wasting peoples time, and misusing the forum with "high school talk" On member even threatened me with an "infraction" whatever the hell that is. I quickly apologized thinking to myself "wow, hipsters are sensitive. Ixnay on the ipsterhay"
anyway, imagine my surprise when I come back on monday morning to find TWENTY THREE posts equally stupid to mine? Lets not take ourselves so seriously. I agree that we shouldn't misuse forums, but c'mon.
