theres a sticker on my Pinarello(80s) that says the following thing:

any idea what this means?

Allow me to clarify. I know that Mannesmann is a steel company, German I believe, But can anyone attest to its quality??

Based on my excellent knowledge of language, it looks to me like you have a bike that uses chrome molybdenum tubing. I base this entirely off of "Cromo Molibdeno" sounding kind of like "chrome molybdenum".
That said, Oria made pretty decent tubing, along with most other companies of the time. They were popularish in the late 80s/early 90s, and I know both Bianchi and Pinarello used it. I don't know where the L2D tubing ranks compared to their other stuff, but I think I remember reading that their ML 25 brand tubing was straight gauge low end stuff, and that their GM 0.0 stuff was the really high end?

Oria steel was used by Concorde and Ciocc as well and I've seen it on a Battaglin too so yeah, it is fine stuff. Post up some pics and maybe try the Classics and Vintage sub-forum, they are very knowledgeable over there.
