Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Has anyone ever used this before? Also, where to find cheap wheels

Has anyone had any experience with this converter? http://www.bikepartsusa.com/bikepart...ategory=search

Or maybe someone can point me in the direction of cheap wheels!

Thanks

Sub sub. On bikepartsusa.com there are a bunch of 20 dollar wheels, Granted I'm sure they are terrible, I'm not looking for anything ultra fantastic. Unfortunately, they seem to have disappeared.

Your LBS might be able to conjure a wheelset with some old spare rims. They might not be pretty or matching, but you get a handbuilt set and that counts for something.
