Mike & the BD TEam: Dawes SST: 2010 Model?
Mike and team -
I've been trying to get folks around me to ride more often. I've been helping them navigate through the bike process (I am total noob, but amazing what you can pick up from the forums, etc.) A couple of quick questions:
1) Will there be a dawes 2010 model
- If so, what will the differences be?
2) Will you ever consider making a bike targeted towards the "trend" seekers? (riser bars, single speed/fixed, etc.) Something similar to the Tommaso tricked out bike (less for me and more my friends...seriously.)
Regards,
CD

The 2010 SST will not be different
I have thought of doing a tricked out bike; but have spent more time on bikes like to wide tire friendly and old school double TT bikes
I assume by 'tricked out' you mean colored rims, colored stem, etc
My feeling is these are kinda of personal
would love to hear ideas on a spec that might have wide appeal
{I was thinking of a SST-AL with no decals - with White Rims and Stem - then have it in full paint including fork in WHITE, BLACK, and BrightRed} Comments?
Other ideas?

Mike.
THAT SOUNDS AMAZING. Although I would add in a white seat option (complete the trinity with the white rims and white stem or grips.)
I wanted to order the AL this week but now you're going to make me wait (!!!)
When would you expect something like this to be able to ship?
White, Black and Red would sell so fast off the shelves (IMO.) The Kilo's grape purple and Dawes SST blue are also really popular color ways. You may consider adding these to the option table as well.
Oh and...I'd also pay list for the first sample if that speeds things up (seriously)

i wouldnt get your panties in a bunch over the prospect of a tricked out bike from BD. although there may be some demand for it,i doubt there would be enough demand for BD to profit from it. is it even possible to barsipnz with a dawes!?

Lol. Damn. That's the exact color scheme on my Dawes SST as it is now... Minus the white frame/fork. But eventually!
Toosense: Not with the Bullhorns. But I ride to ride and not trick, so I can't say with Risers or anything...
