i agree. But it's the only picture I found on the internet with what seems to be the eighth inch drops on.
I wanted to see what a 115mm drop looks like mounted. Coz I run nitto B125s and they are shallower than the B123 at 152mm and I found them to be quite comfy. 115mm would be shedding almost 40mm from the B125s and I couldn't imagine what they look like.

OP, please post when u get ur handlebars delivered. (hopefully the right bar this time )

WOw....that is really shallow. I'm glad I saw this thread. Would work for some, but I am looking for bars for the track... those ain't gonna cut it unless I flip stem and remove spacers each week when swapping bars.

I dig the drops, but I don't ride on the flat horizontal part that comes back (lowest part). I ride on the angled part by the brakes, I've actually considered cutting my bars shorter because of this. that being said, i have really long arms for my height. I ride on drops always

I just ordered a pair of the 1/8th inch drops yesterday...I love my track drops when it comes to sprinting and keeping up with traffic. but once I get up to a certain speed I tend to feel a little out of control. Im hoping a shallower drop will help me keep my cadence at speed a little better..

I just rode my friend's bike to go pick up some lunch and find myself liking those eighthinch drops more and more. Like I said in an earlier post, the shallow drop makes them feel more like narrow moustache bars...which are cool for cruising along at any speed.

You can have a similar look/feel by flipping North Road commuter bars.

Those look like cyclocross dirt drops.

Google 'Monstercross' to see a lot of cool fat-tire bikes with those bars.

Very similar...except the eighthinch bars are parallel in the drops, where the Sparrows are angled outward.
Sparrows are definitely rad though.

Sadly that is, and always has been, what this forum is all about. It's a great place to see cool bikes, but don't dip your toe unless you're one of the "cool kids"!

I often agree with that, Sammyboy. In all honesty, though...the majority of people here who actually matter are all pretty cool, knowledgeable folks and even though I haven't been taking part in discussions on this forum for very long, I have learned...and continue to learn...quite a bit here.

It's the ones who incessantly feel the need to argue or cut someone down regardless of what they're into, what they're saying/asking, etc. are the ones who make it suck for everyone.

Ride what you like and keep the PMA.

I've always gotten really good customer service from Eighthinch/Wheel & Sprocket. I wonder what the deal is?
