Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

That wheelbase looks about the same as my conversion. Seems kind of long for a track frame.

Yea are all IROs like that? I feel like that could take considerably away from acceleration. Well maybe not enough to matter, but it just doesn't look so great.

It's a phoenix, it's not a track frame, "Relaxed geometry and longer wheelbase"

Oh okay, I don't really know anything about that frame but it caught my eye. I bet it's comfortable.

On what looks to be a 50cm bike that much overlap is not uncommon.

I agree, the smaller frame might have more toe overlap but I think it's just the picture. It looks like pictures of parts layered over each other and not an actual complete bike (the chain is just there). This seems like a better picture. Sorry, it's a little big.

I don't know that wheelbase should have an effect on acceleration really.

wheelbase affects acceleration and handling as well as the mystic properties of balance and feel.
