Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Bikes: they are so frankensteined it's hard to say, but one is an IRO Angus frame & fork, the other is a Fuji Track 2006 frame. everything else is constantly changing.

Recovered: Stolen Blue Raleigh Conversion

I bought an obviously stolen blue lugged Raleigh fixed-gear conversion off one of the neighborhood junkies yesterday in Fishtown. It has black Profile Design bullhorns, a rear deep V, brakeless, plastic toeclips. It seems to be in its original condition. If it's yours, give me some more details and I'll be happy to return it to you. I didn't pay much for the bike, but a reimbursement would be appreciated.

I surf craigslist and hotspots for the same reason, but have yet to get lucky. Good luck with finding the owner. If you were in WI I would buy you a beer!

thanks! i appreciate that.

i did post on craigslist, and yes, i gave a general "blue bike conversion" description. i asked for details. i have been scanning the "lost and found" section, but none of the stolen bikes' descriptions match this bike's at all.
