My Langster then, and now
So I know that people generally hate Langsters, and I'm sure there's gonna be a ton of comments as to why my bike sucks, etc etc, but I just wanted to show what my bike used to look like, and what I've been up to the past few days. Sorry for the sketchy cell phone shots.
The Langster before:
and the Langster now:
Primed and painted frame/forks and applied a few decals, kept the stem and spacers primer white (just thought it came together nicely with the other white accents on the bike). Added the Sag Double Toe Straps, Origin8 Bullhorns, new KMC chain. Took off the computer because my dog knocked over my bike and somehow cracked the screen. Picked up a hip pack from REload when I was up in Philly, so no more need for the seat bag, and I put the bottle cage on when I do my distance rides.

The one strap goes where a single strap normally would, then the second strap just rests in that little area right behind the front of the pedal where you bolt the clip into. Works for me! You could probably even run a little longer bolt and create a makeshift second strap cradle. There's enough room between the bottom of the pedal and the bolt for the strap to fit.

Yeah it is pretty awesome. Or could just be the simple fact that I respect what the Mash guys do, and I'm good friends with one of the reps for RVCA, so I have a box full of stickers and want to rep/promote a solid company and do a friend a favor.

looks nicer, still too many decals imo and I think the bike would look better if the seatpost and stem were the same color. Also, I would paint the pedals either the same color as the bike or black/silver to match the seatpost or stem

I still ride it all the time. 20miles in the mornings, then to work, and then everywhere else I go. I just get bored and take on projects. Plus I've been goin through some pretty heavy sh*t lately, so I've just been tryin to stay busy, so this took care of that for a few days.

i bought a langster because i got a really good deal on it. Rode it once or twice hated the geometry and sold it. I am glad you like the bike, the parts that come on it are pretty top notch.
