What do you guys think? I like the newer color schemes, although they've gone and replaced the carbon fork with an aluminum one and (I think) cheaped out on some other parts too.

From the Cannondale website:
Wow
LEGIT:
Impress all your hardcore bike friends: With track wheels and choice of drops or a flat bar, the 2010 Capo is a modern day iteration of the Indiana Little 500 winner. Race it in the local keirin or against the city’s fleet of cabbies.

I think I saw a thread relating to this already and replied to it. But anyway I am so glad I bought my Capo in 2008. The 2009 models were a freaking joke and there was no way I would have bought one. I still wonder what the logic was in the crank they put on the 2009 models. The 2010 are actually an improvement over the 2009 in my opinion but the price is to steep.
I love the Cannondale frame. I have an older CAAD5 frame which I considered converting to a fixed. However, by the time I added the cost of an Eno hub it was close to the price of the 2008 Capo which is why I made the decision to buy one then. Now with the 2010 models price it would be cheaper to convert my older Cannondale frame if I wanted another fixed gear bike. And if you are not partial to the rigid Cannondale frame like I am then I see absolutely no reason to pay the price for it. Just an honest opinion from one who has always preferred Cannondales.

At a LBS, the Capo 1 is $1800 and the Capo 2 is $999.95. Wtf? For $1800 I'd rather get a Fuji Track Pro or a Felt Tk1

$1800 for an aluminum fork, effy wheels, and a crap crank. Yet it comes with Cinelli everything else... Priorities, they do not have.
Cannondale really dropped the ball.

I never like the idea from the beginning.
But having your frame made overseas is not an excuse for making a crap bike.

1800 for a bike with hardly any parts on it, what a joke.
It aint even made in this country.
Just to clarify with yall:
-Cannondale is moving ALL production overseas by 2010
-Right now CAAD8's are Taiwanese and CAAD9's are still American
-By 2010, CAAD9's will be speaking asian as well; better get a ****ing translator just to ride the damned thing
-This capo crap is made in Taiwan.
-The capo is categorized by c-dale under the recreation section, NOT the road bike section. Get a real bike.
-Interestingly enough, the year 2007 the last year the Capo was categorized with the road bikes and also the last year the frame was produced in Bedford, PA.
-the capo will never again be made in the USA thanks to you penny pinching ****s.
If you want to be super hip, buy a 2007- capo and don't support a company that sells out to a foreign corporation that rapes American factories.

The 2009 Capo, the one that everyone loves to hate for its four-bolt crankset, is absolutely made in the USA. It says so right on the frame.
Speaking Asian? Christ, go back to school.

as stated by cannondale, and blasternot112, all production will have moved overseas by 2010. in three months it won't say "handmade in usa" ever again. what is there to argue?

yall must be in denial.. there's no way it's that easy to lose all ability to read, comprehend, and use google.com
but seriously keep arguing that cannondale will be made in the USA past 2010... if it makes you feel better.
