Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Anyone have a 27.0 seatpost that's not junk?

Looking for something decent that's not terribly expensive. Not wanting junky stuff IE Titec, Kalloy.

Anybody have a spare in decent shape? Looking for silver only...

I actually gave mine away to my sister's boyfriend, but Sugino SP-2C seatposts can be had in that size. They're short, but very attractive-looking.

My Centurion came with a 27.0 fluted sugino that looked great. It was a little short, and I found a silver Bontrager-branded one that seemed even lighter, despite being longer.

I think there are a fair amount out there.

I used to have a Bontrager 27.0 that looked like an equivalent of a Thomson.
