Singlespeed & Fixed Gear "I still feel that variable gears are only for people over forty-five. Isn't it better to triumph by the strength of your muscles than by the artifice of a derailer? We are getting soft...As for me, give me a fixed gear!"-- Henri Desgrange (31 January 1865 - 16 August 1940)

Nope, you still don't get it.

i have pdx in my name since "luno" was taken and it was the first thing i could think of. i personally think the hipster population is kinda before my time. like people who are 20-35 right now are kind of in the hipster-range i think, where there's a possibility of being a hipster. but i think hipsters are fine personally. i see a few sometimes around town (maybe?). i don't get what the big deal about hating them is.

but yeah what i don't like is people being completely set for life and then "going to live with all the poor people" and getting a low-paying job, but still retaining a high quality of life. it's kind of demeaning and besides no one who's been poor wants to be poor. so its weird in that way. but i guess that's maybe not hipsters and it's a bad way to define them if it is.

If you don't care that you're out, you're in.

not sure what hipster is to you...but the term hispter is a derogative used by nonhipster...making the non hipster a crybaby instead... i would rather be a hipster than a crybaby...

That video was just stupid and humorless. I bet the actors had ironic brake-downs after the shoot.

I hope you are not serious. The movement? That is the funniest thing I've heard in a while. I gotta go change my shorts now cause I peed myself a little.

Didn't Bob Dylan write a song about this like 40 years ago? It's not really a new thing.

I DON'T shower often.

I DO buy silly clothes at thrift stores because I think its socially moral.

I DON'T think that there is a 'hipster movement' nor do I really want to be part of any such thing.

Lol

Unless, of course, your fixed gear bike is a road bike conversion. In that case it started life as "in" until it was converted to fixed gear which was never "in," even among the other fixed gear riders, so it was always "out" which is actually "in."

Got that?
Damn you. I think ill get a track bike to neutralize my conversion. Limbo is now "in"
